Earlier this month, Lil Wayne broke the silence and started dissing his label again thanks to the $51 million dollar that was never settled. For most of the year, things between the two sides were looking to be on the path of repair, but it seems like Weezy is fed up and is starting to vocalize his frustration on tour.
During a performance at Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, AZ this past weekend, Wayne encouraged fans to chant disses towards Birdman and Cash Money, while announcing new music.
“Before I go any further I want y’all to know I got two new albums coming on the way. Real quick, let me hear you say fuck the bullshit. Say fuck the world. Say fuck the Birdman and fuck Cash Money.
A lot of bullshit, these niggas got me in bars right now. They don’t want to see me make good music. I don’t know what the fuck is going on, but fuck them niggas.”
He then went on to ask where the Lil Wayne fans were at and thanks everyone who has been riding with him through all the drama. Obviously, fans have been waiting for Tha Carter V to drop, but there is no signs of that coming on the way any time soon. Luckily, Weezy has a backup plan and will be releasing some new projects for those who want to hear that.
