With his second annual Lil Weezyana Festival set to go down this Sunday, Lil Wayne called up to local radio station Q93 to discuss what’s been going on in his time away from the bright lights. Weeyzy touched on making progress every day in the reconciliation process with Birdman and Ca$h Money Records – which is a Trojan horse to deploying the long-awaited CV album.
While Tunechi wouldn’t offer details on the project, he touched on the current state of the game and how he feels social media has certain rappers feeling they can compare themselves to the greats like himself. The N.O. rapper cited how younger rappers are lacking star power in the climate today, including not having a real idea of what it means to be an emcee from a certain region.
