Milwaukee musician Lili K, better known as part of the new wave of Chicago artists, has released her debut album Ruby this week. With go-to producer Peter Cottontale working on music with The Social Experiment, she decided to produce her own work for the first time, with help from her in-house band.
Lili may have worked with the likes of Chance The Rapper and Vic Mensa, but her new album, along with past EPs, prove that her jazz and soul sound is bold enough to stand alone.
