After nearly 8 years of brainstorming ideas and even receiving a Grammy Award last year for Best Musical Theater Album, Lin-Manuel Miranda’s new The Hamilton Mixtape finally arrives. Last night, at the Richard Rodgers Theater in mid-town New York, the featured artists on the project performed the collection of remixes, covers and samples of the musical.
Luckily, for those of you who weren’t in attendance or haven’t seen the real thing in person, L.M.M. taps the likes of Nas, Chance the Rapper, Alicia Keys, Usher, Common, Wiz Khalifa, The Roots, Ja Rule, Dave East, Busta Rhymes, and others for a new 23-track presentation.
