Lloyd Banks talks 50 Cent, G-Unit New York City division, explaining why the crew opted to not work outside of home base for many years. With Banks’ new COTI 2 project out everywhere, the PLK stopped by the Joe Budden Podcast last week.

Along with a new interview with GQ to open on his hiatus from the music game, the legend of Southside Queens answered almost every question imaginable.  This led to the JBP getting Banks to discuss why G-Unit wanted to work in-house only during their peak years in the mainstream and the evolution of the camp’s sound at the time.

That segued into 50 Cent and the Unit catching flack over division in New York, where Buddens brought up an interesting point in NYC never having comradery before the reign of 50 Cent.
