lojii and Swarvy are back with a new video for “poor git da $$$,” taken from one of last year’s best hip-hop albums, DUE RENT.
The visual, directed by Anaka, tells the true story of lojii being late for a 2am radio show and rushing to make it in time. “I had to figure how to get across town in 15 mins to go do a live set drunk, high, and on the radio,” he says. “The next morning I was like, “That shit was a movie, we got make a music video out of this.” The real Uber driver from that night even stars in the video.
