Since the release of Yeezus in 2013, Kanye West has remained quiet in the solo side of things throughout the entire year. After appearing on the “Drunk in Love (Remix),” “Sanctified” and “Can’t Stop” in recent months, the Chicago legend has been heavily preparing his hip-hop-based seventh studio album we’re hoping for 2015. However, he’s remained very active producing some of your favorite tracks of the year, including “IDFUW.”
One project we’ve personally been looking forward to this fall is The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Pt. 1 original motion picture soundtrack. Last week, Lorde released the official music video for the project with her self-produced single “Yellow Flicker Beat.” While the masses have had time to enjoy the original over the last few days, Kanye reworks her previous track with the drop now simply titled “Flicker.” Listen above to Ye’s spin and look for soundtrack in stores and iTunes on November 17th, before the theatrical release next Friday.
