Lox planned Mase, Puff Daddy VERZUZ Dipset special surprise guest appearances, in the biggest hip-hop event this year. For those that watched live, you were treated to one of the rare occasions where bars and real hip-hop was presented to the mainstream masses.
The Lox stole the show, having one of the best performances in not only history of VERZUZ – but hip-hop. While the Diplomats played their hits, the Lox focused their rapping performance, as many people and some of our own friends from Uptown were visibly upset.
Following the event, it was revealed that the Lox were planning to bring out Ma$e, as he would’ve been on stage with his former friends at Dipset for the first time in over 20+ years. While it’s cordial now between all parties, the King of Harlem World showing up would’ve broken the internet.
Puff Daddy was also in talks to make an appearance but decided to coach his team of the New York Yankees and give them advice on how to approach the event. Take a look at media below and let us know in the comments what you think.
