We know the song is called “Roll Some Mo” and there’s references of weed in it, but we tried not to think of it as a smoked out R&B record. After watching the video, it’s a little too late. But it fits the vibe of the smooth record perfectly. We’ve been playing the Lucky Daye single so much, it’s refreshing to watch the video, especially since it brings the track to life in the best way and carries this laid back ’70s theme. Not much is happening but scenes of Lucky smoking on the porch, his girl smoking in the room and a haze across the crib that echoes even louder as the hook rings out. Plus, the band appearance was a good touch as well.
