Macklemore and Ryan Lewis have quickly become one of the biggest acts in the world, selling millions of copies of their debut album The Heist and winning numerous GRAMMY awards, all on an independent grind. DJ Semtex of BBC Radio 1Xtra took a trip from London to Seattle to gain insight in the 30-minute episode, A Seattle State of Mind. During the documentary, Semtex goes from from hanging out in their private studio, speaking to the pair, touring the city and finding out more about the team behind their success.
