While the two may not be riding on a pirate ship or walking camels down the street, this was a creative way to put on for the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
The duo nominated for seven awards, boarded a bus and gave New Yorkers an impromptu performance for their mega smash hit “Can’t Hold Us,” on a NYC bus equipped with various cameras. Using a huge boombox, the two got the crowd clapping and rocking as soon as they realized what was happening. Even the bus driver got his clap on (very safe driving method, by the way), while toilet paper flew in the air.
The 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards, which Macklemore and Ryan Lewis will be performing at, will air on January 26, 2014 at 8pm on CBS.
