Madlib has spoken a few times this year about his unreleased work with Mac Miller, but it all comes down to getting permission from his family to release the music.
Over the weekend, the producer performed at MoMa PS1 in Queens alongside Freddie Gibbs. During the set, he decided to debut another unreleased another Mac song. This isn’t the first time he’s previewed material this year, having played one in March.
