UK singer Mahalia is back with a video for “Proud of Me,” her new song about growing up, aspirations and making family and friends proud of her. The visual finds her returning to her home of Leicester, where she spends time hanging out with friends, walking around the city, and of course, linking up with Little Simz, who has a verse on the record.
“I’m so excited for everyone to see this one,” Mahalia says. “It’s extra special to me. We filmed it in Leicester with a couple close friends of mine and it’s sick that everyone gets to see me in my home. There’s a couple special guests, too. Keep your eyes peeled!”
She’s growing with each release.
