If you’ve caught Mario back on the R&B scene lately, it’s because he was getting ready for a new EP. Closer to Mars is his newest effort and he’s swooning the ladies with it. The project is a parallel to his name (Mars in Latin) and the fact earth is the closest its been to Mars in over 20 years. The metaphor also is used in the sense of love and relationships, which he explores over the course of the EP.
