The latest Mary J. Blige records that have been released have been part of movie soundtracks. Her new single “See What You’ve Done” is continuing in the same theme, as the track is featured on the Belly Of the Beast documentary. The Queen of Hip Hop Soul is bringing the emotion on the DJ Camper-produced record and the soulfulness and hope is still there.
Belly Of the Beast premieres on November 23 at 10pm EST on PBS and it will follow the enforced illegal sterilization of Black and Latinx women at Central California Women’s Facility. The film was directed by Erika Cohn.
