Master P on Why He Didn’t Purchase Ca$h Money Records

P gave nothing but props to YMCMB

With Master P celebrating over three decades in the music industry and looking back at conditions growing up New Orleans, the legendary mogul is planning to drop an official biopic in the coming months. In a recent sit-down with Hip-Hop DX, the C.E.O. of No Limit went to tease projects I Got The Hookup 2 and Repos 2 – as well as motion picture, The Ice Cream Man: King of the South.

In the biopic, he discussed how he plans to tell his entire life story, beginning at the age of 5, but will focus on real-life situations beyond obvious street situations. P also addressed the rumors of being approaching by Birdman and Slim to him buying Ca$h Money Records back in the day.

Originally, he was on board with acquiring the talent of Mannie Fresh, BG, Lil Wayne and Pimp Daddy, Ms. Tee, PxMxWx, Lil’ Slim and U.N.L.V.; but turned it down due to conflict of interest. Watch more from the interview on what caused the deal not to happen and extra details on his boipic.
