If you’re wondering why Mavado is firing disses at Drake, we have to back you up some. It turns out that Drizzy and Mav had a business venture in the works, but the deal fell through. Fast forward to his “Only You Freestyle” with Headie One, the 6 God took shots at the dancehall star and referenced Cassava Piece, Mavado’s hometown in Kingston, Jamaica. He also referenced him with his “bridge dem burn” lyric.
Now Mavado has responded with “Enemy Line,” a diss towards the Toronto superstar and Popcaan.
He’s not only dissing him on wax, but also on social media, calling him out directly by saying he’s appropriating Dancehall music.
