With his NIGHT album now announced and things moving towards the release, Maxwell has shared a video for his second single off the project in “Shame.” The clip finds Maxwell inside a bathtub and in bed, as he struggles with beauty standards in society, but quickly unveils plenty of black women from being covered up. Whether in his bed, on the balcony or on the streets, a diverse group of dark-skinned females stand confident in their beauty, regardless of their different backgrounds, looks and walks of life. His goal with the video is to uplift women who may not feel right with their bodies or how they look, so they could be more confident and know that beauty standards are all subjective.
