To finish his video trilogy following the release of “Love Like That” and “Cosmic Love,” Mayer Hawthorne ends the story in the worst way. In “Get You Back,” the singer plots the getaway with his shorty to Hawaii, until she is taken by police. Like the hook says, he wants her return to be as soon as possible because he’s missing her badly. We’ve all been through a situation like this at some point (you know, minus shorty getting arrested), but things happen for a reason.
