Meek Mill Explains What Happened with J. Cole Feature on ‘CHAMPIONSHIPS’

Throughout the fourth quarter, Meek Mill’s promotional run for his CHAMPIONSHIPS album has been the biggest we’ve seen of any musician this year. The native of Philadelphia returned home from prison earlier in the year and is using his platform to shed light on the corrupt justice system – but more importantly, help the youth. This week, Meek partook in an AMA session on twitter and one fan asked what happened with his J. Cole collaboration for the project.

Meek went to say he was ready, but was waiting on Cole, who spent a large bulk of time on the road this year for his KOD Tour with Young Thug. However, Meek did say that the collaboration was still coming, so hopefully it lands on his next project – or a next Cole project in year or two.
