Meek Mill Speaks Out for First Time Following Prison Release

Meek’s first TV interview since prison release

Tuesday morning, Meek Mill was officially granted bail by the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. Upon his release, Meek was picked up and flown by a private plane with Michael Rubin, the co-owner of the Philadelphia 76ers, and family waiting to see to him on the outside.

Well, less than 24 hours, following his release from prison, the Philly rapper was guest on NBC Nightly News with Lester Holt to give his first interview on bail. After originally being sentenced to two to four years in prison for a probation violation, the rapper went to explain how this was a very important moment for minorities.
