Meek Mill Has Been Released From Prison on Bail

MEEK MILL LEAVES PRISON IN THE CHOPPER

After five months of fighting the battle through court, in the media and through the legal system, Meek Mill is a free man today.

He and his lawyers have been trying to get him out of prison in several attempts, but the judge on the case has been biased against it in two attempts prior to today. Luckily, this last appeal to the Pennsylvania Supreme Court has granted Meek’s release on bail.

Meek has issued a statement following his release.

76ers co-owner Michael Rubin and Kevin Hart were there to pick him and as Meek puts it, he wants to help shed light to those in jail who may not have the same opportunity as he’s had. He also wants to get back to his friends, family and his music and thanks everyone for their support during this time.

UPDATE: Meek Mill arrives to the 76ers game in Philadelphia.
