Meek Mill Pleads Guilty to Misdemeanor, Has All Other Charges Dropped

Meek Mill has pleaded guilty to a misdemeanor charge of possessing a firearm without a license, The Associated Press reports.

All other charges against the rapper have been dropped, ending a legal case that has been going on for over a decade. Meek will no longer be on probation, which he has been on for most of his adult life, and will serve no additional prison time.

The negotiated plea comes after an appeals court threw out the 2007 conviction last month. Meek previously served around two years in jail for the case.
