Meek Mill Talks About the Justice System, His Struggles, Fatherhood & His Lyrics

As you’ve probably seen lately, Meek Mill has been doing his rounds of promo, but as he tells The Breakfast Club, it’s forced by the label because he hates doing interviews. Funny enough, he says it’s all propaganda and he refuted that tweet of him dropping new music by the end of the year. “It’s all cap,” he said.

During his talk with DJ Envy, Charlamagne the God and Angela Yee, he also broke down about some of his struggles in the system and how it was when he was in jail. He describes how C.O’s treated him inside the box, how segregated things were and how the judge was treating him (sending him to etiquette classes) during the trial. He tried not to dive too deep into it because he didn’t want anything he said to affect his freedom, but he touched on it for a bit.

He also talked about some of the lines in his new album Championships, Colin Kaepernick, some of his favorite songs and his family.
