“What was the shot that hit me?”
For some reason, it seems like Meek Mill and Drake go hand in hand at this point. Whether it’s Meek dropping a mixtape and Drizzy fan boys hating or him dissing the 6 God and people saying he’s taking L’s ever since “Back To Back.” There’s just no escaping mentioning one without the other anymore. Hence, the new episode of TAXSEASON.
TAXSTONE was in a vehicle with Meek and straight up asked him what he thought when the GRAMMY nominated diss record dropped and he first heard it.
Interestingly, Meek said he thought it was hot but it was nothing that shot at his heart. He compared it to the legendary Nas and JAY Z battle, where the two were really going at each other and said Drake’s diss was not like that. He didn’t think he was coming at his neck.
“I ain’t think it was no shit that people was gonna be like, ‘you got killed.’ I thought it was hot. Like when we shoot at niggas, you gotta shoot a nigga through the heart. When you wake up in the mirror, you looking in the mirror, you hearing what the nigga told you, some shit about yourself that you can’t even deal with. That’s how we battle where we come from.”
