One of our favorite producers in the game, Metro Boomin, has been the subject of speculation the past day because he’s been hinting at an exit out of the rap game. He locked his Instagram account and added the caption of “Retired record producer/DJ” on his page the past day, which has caused chatter around social media about what’s going on.
Not only that, but he posted a story on his account with the caption “Retired from rap,” causing even more speculation.
There are no details as to why he is posting this on social media, but we hope he doesn’t actually retire from the game. His production is one of the best and his producer tag is the best in rap. We can’t get enough of his beats.
We know he’s had beef with Atlantic Records and certain executives before, speaking out about his frustration with them when he’s put his blood, sweat and tears into the music.
