Meyhem Lauren and DJ Muggs are setting an example as far as dropping consistent videos from an album are concerned. This week, the duo are sharing a visual for “Redrum,” taken from their collaborative Gems from the Equinox project, which finds them kicking it in the streets of NYC.
“’Redrum’ is a raw street banger shot in the lower east side Manhattan and under the Brooklyn Bridge,” Meyhem says. “Broken dusty off-kilter funk with a comical and menacing lyrical tone.”
“The video was shot at my man Dren Starrs’ hood,” Muggs adds. “It’s basically me and some of my dearest friends wearing matching hoodies and drinking Hennessy to celebrate life on camera.”
