MF DOOM Announces ‘Operation: Doomsday’ Vinyl Box Set

It’s a good time to be an MF DOOM fan at the moment. He recently dropped collaborations with Sean Price and Westside Gunn, and teamed up with Adult Swim for several tracks for the now-cancelled series ‘The Missing Notebook Rhymes.’

Now, DOOM has announced a new limited edition vinyl box set for his debut solo album Operation: Doomsday, which originally dropped in 1999. The collection, limited to 1500 copies at a $75 cost, consists of seven 7-inch colored vinyls with all the original songs. There’s new packaging, artwork and two 45 adapters with a 3D rendering of DOOM’s gladiator mask.

Picture sleeves for the pieces all feature work by Lord Scotch (artist behind the original album art), as well as hand-lettered track listings on one side and color illustrations on the flip. When laid next to each other, they fit like puzzle pieces to form one large image.

Pre-order HERE – it ships November 15th.
