Mick Jenkins is back with his first release of the new year. His latest track “Pressed for Time (Crossed My Mind),” which pays homage to Jill Scott in the title, features GoldLink and finds Monte Booker and THEMpeople on the production. “This song with GoldLink isn’t a preview of what’s to come. It’s just some dope shit we did a while back,” the Chicago rapper says.
However, he did give an update on what he’s working on: “My next album is fully in the works. It’s different. I know y’all want that hard shit. Ima give it to you. I have two projects coming in 2017 actually.”
