Mike Dean is having a busy year as always in 2016, working on the likes of Frank Ocean’s Endless, Kanye West’s The Life of Pablo, Beyoncé’s Lemonade, Travis Scott’s Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight and Desiigner’s New English — there aren’t many producers can boast a discography like that in a lifetime.
The producer recently caught up with Nardwuar in Vancouver, BC, Canada, live from studio bus, where he talked about the early days of Houston rap, producing for Rap-A-Lot artists, working with Odd Squad and much more.
