Last summer, with the help of Rihanna on “Nothing Is Promised,” producer Mike WiLL Made It started his Ransom 2 campaign. However, he decided to put the effort on hold; as he witnessed his protégé’s Rae Sremmurd enjoy critical-acclaim a few months later, with La’Flare on “Black Beatles.”
With the Sremmlife duo presumably, back in the studio, King Midas has announced the official release date for his major debut album. Exactly 24 hours after his birthday next week, he will release R2 on March 24th. The 17-track effort is set to have guest appearances from Pharrell, Kendrick Lamar, Young Thug, Big Sean, Lil Wayne, 2 Chainz, Migos, Gucci Mane, Rae Sremmurd and more.
