Mike WiLL Made-It stopped by Pigeons and Planes new web series, What Had Happened Was, to share a rare story regarding the Queen. Above, in the sit-down, Mike touched on meeting Beyoncé at Coachella 2014 in SoCal with Rae Sremmurd. The iconic songstress told WiLL she wanted to work with him in the studio, which he prepared content spontaneously with Slim Jimmy and Swae Lee.
A short time later, he went to a Los Angeles Clippers game, when LeBron James was in town with Rich Paul and his friends for a road game. After the game, he met up with King James, as JAY-Z and Bey walked into their late night gathering to link up for some work. Before recording the track, Mike made sure he sent Bey the raw version of “Formation,” that the Sremmlife crew were brainstorming for her to give her touch to it. Watch more from the video below.
