Robert Glasper will release Everything’s Beautiful on May 27th, an 11-track album of reimagined interpretations of Miles Davis‘ music. Following the excellent “Ghetto Walkin’” with vocals from Bilal, Glasper returns with another new single called “Violets.” This time, it’s Phonte of The Foreign Exchange who provides some conscious lyrics, along with production from 9th Wonder.
Miles Davis is also scoring the Miles Davis biopic Miles Ahead, which opens in theaters this weekend.
