We’re not much into the jazz scene but when we catch cats like Terrace Martin and Kamasi Washington step up to the plate with good music, we lend a good ear to listen.
Miles Mosley is cut from that same cloth and is looking to break out in 2017 with his new album Uprising. The effort is due out on January 27 and is anchored by the new single “L.A. Won’t Bring You Down.” The track has plenty of soul and is a clear sign of how buzzing the jazz music in Los Angeles is right now with untapped talent.
Fun fact: Mosley played the bass on Kendrick Lamar‘s To Pimp A Butterfly album.
