Taylor Swift, Beyoncé & Ed Sheeran headline nominations
Since brining mainstream attention back to the Video Music Awards during Robin Thicke’s performance for “Blurred Lines,” pop star Miley Cyrus will officially be hosting the upcoming 2015 edition of the annual MTV event. The show will emanate live from the Microsoft Theater in downtown Los Angeles on August 30th, which will mark her first time helming the awards show. The nominations were also unveiled, as Taylor Swift, Beyoncé and Ed Sheeran lead all nominees this year. Fan voting is now open at vma.mtv.com for categories: “Video of The Year,” “Best Male Video,” and “Best Female Video” right now.
