ONLY THE STRONG SURVIVE!

If you haven’t noticed lately, ESPN’s NBA coverage has added a shitload of rap instrumentals in between commercials and during highlight packages. That’s partly because of Jalen Rose, who seems to have become the music coordinator for the show, adding his own touch to NBA Countdown.

Now it looks like the infamous Mobb Deep have cooked up a remix of their classic records, “Survival Of The Fittest,” specifically for the show, to be debut for the Western Conference Finals (whenever the Warriors, Grizzlies, Clippers or Rockets close out the series). The Infamous turns 20 years old this year, so it makes sense they take it back to that for ESPN.

Not only that, but the Queens group has decided to drop a new EP titled Survival Of The Fittest as well, which will include this remix as well as four more new songs.
