Coming Early 2015
It only took two radio interviews and a Twitter rant from Scott Vener to send the buzz for Kendrick Lamar‘s new album through the roof. Although there are no details on what his sophomore effort will be called or who will be feature on it, more sources are coming out and expressing how they feel about the new tracks they’ve heard.
The latest is Hot 97’s Peter Rosenberg, who heard four tracks after Kendrick’s interview on Ebro In The Morning yesterday. So what does he think about the new records?
According to Rosenberg, K Dot has elevated his game and is addressing social commentary, has samples that are excellent and is on another wave that you haven’t heard from Kendrick before or anything that’s out now. Peter also stresses it has the sound that will cater to the clubs and radio, even though he isn’t trying to go that route.
