His name says it all, so that’s why we always expect the soul from Musiq. On “Alive & Well,” he puts a lot of that to the side for a more soft rock side, with a hint of that R&B groove we’re used to. On the track he urges he talks to a shorty to accept life if things are all good and not fake the funk. Moral of the story, be happy with what you have.
