‘The Diary’ is Coming Soon
J Dilla‘s instrumental album Dillatronic only came out in October, but there’s more good news for 2016.
Nas just appeared on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show to announce that a new J Dilla album called The Diary is coming out this year on his Mass Appeal Records label. The album will feature unreleased raps and beats from Dilla, with guest features from Snoop Dogg, Madlib, Bilal, Pete Rock, Hi-Tek, Nottz, Karriem Riggins and more. To go with the news, the first single “The Introduction” also got its first play live on air.
Previously, Nas used Dilla’s “Gobstopper” instrumental for his song “The Season.”
