Nas is sharing the official video for “Cops Shot the Kid,” his Kanye West collaboration off NASIR.
In the video, Nas walks along the beach at sunset as he narrates an all-too familiar story of police brutality. “The cop shot the kid, same old scene,” Nas raps. “Pour out a little liquor, champagne for pain.” A shorter version of the visual without Kanye’s verse appeared in the album’s short film. The OG Slick Rick also makes a cameo at the end of the clip.
