SUMMER ONSMASH!
We’ve been waiting for a new Nas album for a minute and it seems like we’re about to see the light at the end of the tunnel and getting a new project before we hit the fall season. It has been five years since Life Is Good, so it’s been a long time coming for it.
Thanks to the New York Times, Esco has given fans an update on the effort, saying he’s two weeks away from finishing. He also gave a tentative date for “summer.”
The NYT did a profile on the Queens legend, after spending a night with him where they discussed music and food. During his time with them, he listened to beats and took the newspaper behind-the-scenes for a little of the making of his album as he chose his favorites. This gets us excited for what’s to come. His latest features have been solid.
But anyway, there you have it folks. Nas is back this summer.
