Nas has officially signed Stro to Mass Appeal Records. The Brooklyn rapper first made a name for himself at the age of 14 as The Astronomical Kid, when he appeared on the The X Factor and made it into the top seven. Since then, he’s been dropping project after project, and will release another on October 19th through his new label — it’s titled Nice to Meet You.
“There was a lot of ups and downs creating this project, but through the grace of God I’m able to say I got it done,” Stro told Billboard. “Through the grace of God, I’m also able to release this new music through one of the most authentic labels in music today, Mass Appeal Records. The whole building has been supporting what I do. NAS SUPPORTS WHAT I DO. That’s a blessing I’ll hold on to and keep in mind for the rest of my journey. That’s all I needed.”
Astro joins the likes of Dave East, Fashawn, Black Milk, Mannie Fresh and many others on the imprint.
