New bars from Nas don’t come around too often, so you have to appreciate his features for the likes of Rick Ross and DJ Khaled, and his contributions to The Get Down and Hamilton. Thankfully though, he’s confirmed that his new album will be released at some point this year.
Not long after hearing his track “Angel Dust” (from The Get Down), we’ve got another treat from Nasir this week. DJ Shadow just gave Zane Lowe the green light to play a new Nas track titled “Systematic” on Beats 1, which Shadow produced himself. The collaboration makes perfect sense given Shadow is on Mass Appeal Records.
