It’s crazy to think, but Nas’ classic sophomore effort It Was Written is reaching its 25th anniversary this year. To commemorate the occasion, Esco will be releasing a special bundle.
A special physical version will include a 2LP silver vinyl, with a gatefold jacket with lyrics on it. It will also come with a cassette with lyrics inside the 8-panel J-Card. The expanded version of the album will come packaged with the original album, plus two bonus tracks not on streaming, which are “Silent Murder” and the bonus verse for “Street Dreams.”
The bundle will be available for fans in September and should be one to buy for hip hop collectors.
