It’s unfortunate that Nick Blixky did not get to see his debut album Different Timin materialize and see the light of day. The buzzing New York rapper was shot and killed about a month ago in Brooklyn, right as his career was on the up and up. Fortunately for the rest of us, we get to listen to his posthumous album, which he was working on before his death. Spanning at 13 tracks, Nick’s new project finds him on his BK shit throughout, spreading that drill sound and aggressiveness we’ve been getting from the borough lately.
