Nicki Minaj dissed Drake earlier this weekend, moments before her “Trollz” music video with 6ix9ine went live. In a gram session, after Tekashi went crazy, Nicki had to get her peace off for working with him. She essentially called out people for not keeping the same energy, with powerful people in charge.
While both agreed that the streets should have all animosity for 6ix9ine, that shouldn’t pertain to entertainers.
The quick shot at Drake, that went over many heads, was when she said, “Ya’ll want to talk about people not writing their raps one minute, and then do songs with people that don’t write raps the next minute.” This was a direct mention at Drake and Cardi B over their recent work with Meek Mill.
Considering she has a collaborative album in the works with Lil Wayne, we’re still wondering if the relationship with her and Drake ever be resolved. Essentially on the OVO Sound side of things, they blame Nicki for Meek even mentioning anything public on social media. This almost ended his entire career, which is something most people still don’t understand.
