Nicki x Dazed
Last March, Nicki Minaj started the campaign for her new album, with the #3PackFromParisEP. While the songs gained initial steam, she got more music notoriety this year for her guest appearances.
Now, the Southside native of Queens is gearing up to release a follow-up to her 2014 project, The Pinkprint. While fans are still waiting for details on the effort, she spoke about it with Dazed.
She went to say, “This era will be a billion times more epic than anything ‘Anaconda’ could have delivered. I think this era will definitely be the most memorable and the most impactful of my career yet. I’m not rushing the album, because it means so much to me.
I have to release a classic at this point.” Before closing things out, she also teased upcoming work with Young Thug saying, “I was so blown away by his artistry,” she explains. “I can’t wait for people to hear that collaboration.” Unfortunately, with Ms. Minaj uncertain on how far along she is with the creative process, we wouldn’t hold our breath for a fourth quarter release this year.
