Nicki Minaj hasn’t been as vocal lately as she was when her QUEEN album dropped. Despite the backlash for claiming the project No. 1 even though it debuted at No. 2 in its first week and continued tough talk against plenty of artists in the industry (including Travis Scott), it didn’t stop her effort from achieving platinum certification by the RIAA.
Today on social media, Nicki made sure she thanked fans for this achievement, making it the fourth album in her catalog to reach such esteem. She kept things short and thanked everyone involved and her fans for their support.
Took a little longer than expected, though, right?
