We’re not quite sure if Nile Rodgers & CHIC is quite the cup of tea around these parts, but the duo has a pretty solid album on their hands if you’re into disco and dance records. One of the more R&B-sounding tracks on It’s About Time is the Craig David and Stefflon Don-featured “Sober,” which got a video recently. It actually sounds like something straight out of the ’90s and it’s a dance party for the clip. Whether old or young, everyone is having fun on the dance floor.
There’s a Teddy Riley “New Jack Swing” version of this song on the album as well that may fit better with fans, but either way, this is a bop.
