For some odd reason we thought that Marathon Mondays would be no longer with the release of Slauson Boy 2, which was all of the previous Marathon Mondays compiled into a tape. It’s Monday, and we have received yet another release from neighborhood Nip. This is one of the most consistent weekly releases we’ve seen in recent history, with Nipsey dropping with no problems roughly every Monday this entire summer.
“Can’t Spell Success” is no leftover cut either, it’s a heat rock, which features frequent collaborator Cuzzy Capone. Nip drops two verses on the track, while Capone gives him a break with one in the middle. He doesn’t switch up his production with Sap, and Mike & Keys handling the beat.
